Visitor Center

Devils Tower National Monument is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The visitor center, where the Devils Tower Natural History Association (DTNHA) bookstore is located, is also open seasonally.

Visitor Center Hours of Operation:

CURRENT HOURS: 9 AM TO 5 PM--Seven Days A Week

From Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend: 9 am to 6 pm 7 days a week

From after Labor Day weekend to before Memorial Day weekend, hours may vary.

Entrance Fees--Passes Available at the Entrance Station

1-7 Day Vehicle Pass - $25.00
Admits one single, private, non-commercial vehicle and all its passengers.

1-7 Day Motorcycle Pass - $20.00
Admits one individual when entering on a motorcycle.

1-7 Day Individual Permit - $15.00
Admits one individual when entering on foot or bicycle. Individuals 15 years of age or younger are admitted free.

Devils Tower National Monument Annual Pass - $45.00
Admits one single, private, non-commercial vehicle and all its passengers for a year.

America the Beautiful – National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass – Annual Pass - $80.00
This pass is available to the general public and provides access to, and use of, Federal recreation sites that charge an entrance or standard amenity fee for a year, beginning from the date of the sale.

America the Beautiful – National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass – Senior Pass - $20.00 (Annual) or $80.00 (Lifetime)
This is a lifetime pass for U.S. citizens or permanent resident age 62 or over, and provides access to, and use of, Federal recreation sites that charge and entrance or standard amenity fee.

America the Beautiful – National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass – Volunteer Pass – Free
This pass is for volunteers acquiring 500 service hours on a cumulative basis, providing access to, and use of, Federal recreation sites that charge an entrance or standard amenity fee for a year, beginning from the date of the award.

Pets

Pets are NOT ALLOWED on any of the trails in the park or in the building, unless they are ADA-compliant service animals. They are allowed in the parking lots at the visitor center and the Joyner Ridge trailhead, as well as alongside the roads and down at the campground. Campground

All camping is on a first come, first serve basis.

The camping fee is $20.00 per day, and there are 50 sites available. The group camping fee is $30.00 per day, with a minimum 6 people and maximum 20 people and 4 vehicles per site. There are 3 sites available.

The campground closes for the winter season sometime in October. It will reopen in mid to late April, depending on weather conditions.
